eLearning Courses

The ABFA provides a comprehensive range of eLearning modules for staff of ABFA Members, Affiliates and those working within the industry. The courses are available on a new Learning Management System. All staff of ABFA Members and Affiliates are able to register for the suite of courses as part of your organisation’s membership of the ABFA at no extra cost.

As well as our portfolio of eLearning modules, we also offer more extensive training through the ABFA Foundation Course and the Compliance Library which are available at an additional charge.

Advanced eLearning Courses

ABFA Standards Framework Course

Duration: 1-2 hours
Cost: Free for Members

This course is for Members and Affiliates and covers the ABFA Code and Standards Framework. The course provides full guidance on the ABFA Code and Standards Framework, and how to work effectively within the standards. It is free and compulsory for Members as part of membership with the ABFA.


The course covers;

• Introduction to the ABFA Code
• The ABFA Code and guidance
• The Complaints Process
• The Professional Standards Council (PSC) and its role
• Assessment

Foundation Course

Duration: Min 4 weeks
Cost: £275 +VAT per student for Members and Affiliate. £385 + VAT for non Members.

The ABFA eLearning Foundation Course provides an overview of the invoice financing industry including a brief history of the industry, the products, the benefits to Clients and the methods that the industry uses to finance its Clients whilst protecting its investment. It is designed to assist staff to obtain a general understanding of the workings of the industry together with an increased awareness of Clients' expectations and issues.
