2009's Educational Foundation Awards Dinner was held on Thursday 5th March 2009 at The Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington. The evening began with a champagne reception, followed by dinner and the awards ceremony which was hosted by Will Greenwood, MBE. 2009's Annual Dinner was held on Thursday 28th May 2009 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. This black tie evening began with a champagne reception, followed by welcome speech of ABFA's Chairman, Tim Corbett and the Indian themed dinner. 2009's Annual Conference is titled 'Back to Basics' and will be held on the Wednesday 2nd - Thursday 3rd of December at the Hilton Brighton Metropole.

In the latter half of 2008 the ABFA hosted an AFBA Quiz Night competition, where one quiz team from a Member company was crowned 'ABFA Quiz Champions'. There were four regional heats and the top two teams of each heat went forward to the final which was held on Thursday 13th November.
