The ABFA Certificate course is an excellent way of helping key staff build
their knowledge and understanding of the industry and the second Certificate
registration period for the 2008 student intake is now here.
The last day for student registration during this period is the 30th
of November.
The ABFA Certificate course is the second level of the ABFA's 3-Step Distance
Learning Programme. It is a natural continuation from the ABFA Foundation course
and is a professional qualification in its own right. The course is primarily
aimed at students operating as Client Managers, Operations Supervisors or Team
Leaders, Auditors or a similar level in their organisation, but is equally suitable
for anyone wishing to gain a deeper knowledge of the invoice finance industry.
The course is comprised of three modules, with each module having a mandatory
assignment. These assignments contribute to 40% of the overall grade of the
student. The final exam will then comprise the other 60% of the mark. The Certificate
looks in detail at the management and control of invoice financing and provides
an introduction into other asset based finance products. More details of the
course structure can be found in the ABFA Course Brochure for 2008 and in the
Certificate student Q&A sheets - available from the Certificate
page of the website.
