Bookings are now being taken for the ABFA Senior Executive Seminar 2011.
This event is the first Senior Executive Seminar which the ABFA has ever held. It will take place on Wednesday 6th April 2011 at the Lancaster Hotel in London. The event is designed to aid senior executives of the industry to learn something new and to have closer contact and build relationship with their peer groups across the industry.
The facilitator for the day is Admiral Chris Parry. Chris has been advising governments strategically for many years and more details on him can be found below.
The afternoon will consist of some time in plenary and some in breakout doing exercises and will finish with a round up in front of 'guest' MD's. This will be followed by a dinner with the day ending around 9.30pm.

2.45 to 3.30pm - Delegates to participate in plenary to agree
where the Asset Based Finance industry should be in ten years time and to identify
potential strategic barriers to achievement.
3.30 to 4.45pm - Delegates to
work in groups to look at strategic initiatives to overcome barriers and facilitate
industry growth
4.45 to 5.30pm - Delegates to regroup and share ideas and
to build a mid-term and long-term strategic plan

5.30 to 6.30pm - MD's join the delegates

The cost of a ticket for this afternoon event is £250.00 (plus VAT) per person for delegates and £75.00 (plus VAT) for MDs joining for the Dinner in the evening.

Rear Admiral Chris Parry CBE
Rear Admiral Chris Parry CBE is a former
Royal Navy officer who is one of the country's leading strategic forecasters and
military thinkers. He was the author of the DCDC Global Strategic Trends Programme
2007-36, which, among other assessments (that were subsequently confirmed by events)
foresaw the collapse of the world's financial system, the re-emergence of piracy
at sea and the Russian intervention in Georgia.
Today, he is one of
the UK's leading experts on strategic forecasting and geo-strategic trend-analysis,
as well as a non-executive director and strategic adviser to several companies.
Chris has been advising various governments about strategic issues and risk for
many years and regularly works with Boards and Senior Leadership Teams to develop
and implement strategy.
