SECOND ABFA ECONOMIC REPORT IS NOW COMMISSIONED

The ABFA now commissions a half yearly Economic Report. The second of these reports has now been issued covering the period from Q2 2008 to Q4 2008. The reports are designed to put ABFA statistics into a wider economic context. These reports have been commissioned by the ABFA and are written by Paul Mizen, Professor of Monetary Economics and Director of the Centre for Finance and Credit Markets at the University of Nottingham.

Paul is, amongst other things, a former Bank of England economist and has been engaged in economic research for a number of universities, national central banks and international organisations. In the reports, Paul puts ABFA figures into an economic context, explaining the industry’s activity and products in the light of current macroeconomic and financial events.

The second Ecomonic Report of 2008 is featured on our Publications page of the website.
