The ABFA hosts a series of Quiz Nights. These extremely popular networking events take place around the UK and also in Dublin. There are four UK regional heats, Birmingham 18th September, Brighton 25th September, Manchester 9th October, London 6th November, with the UK Final taking place on 27th November at the Alfresco Bar & Grill, Brighton. The Dublin Quiz Night will be on 13th November. Registration for all the Nights will open in August.

This year’s Annual Dinner will take place on Thursday 30th October at the Hilton Park Lane, London.

The 2014 ABFA Achievers Awards Dinner took place on Wednesday 5th March 2014 at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington in London. The evening celebrated the achievements of students that had completed one or more of the ABFA Distance Learning Programmes. The evening began with a Welcome Reception, followed by a three-course dinner and entertainment from comedian Sean Collins. Andrew Castle, the former British Number One tennis player and GMTV anchorman, hosted the awards ceremony.

The ABFA Annual Conference took place on 30th April – 1st May 2014 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa, Edinburgh.

The event kicked off on the Tuesday evening with a drinks reception in the elegant Georgian Signet Library, whose upper library which hosted the reception was once described by King George IV as "the finest drawing room in Europe".

Declan Curry, as MC, opened proceedings Wednesday morning and throughout the day delegates were treated to a series of thought provoking speeches and industry insight. Finally, after a cocktail reception and gala dinner, conference was brought to a close with a reflection on the economy from the Rt Hon Alistair Darling MP.

The ABFA 5-A-Side Football tournament 2014 took place on Friday 16th May on the 3G outdoor pitch at St. George’s Park, the training base for England’s football teams. Players were able enjoy access to these world class facilities.
